On September 3, the first day of the temporary opening of the Biedieli Port in Aksu, Xinjiang, the container truck loaded with various kinds of commodities whistled and slowly drove out of China to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Nearly 70% of the cleared commodities were originated from Yiwu. Till then, Yiwu has obtained one more ¡°golden channel¡± for the export to the five Central Asian countries, especially to Kyrgyzstan.
Heading west to the Eurasia continent through the ports in Xinjiang is one of Yiwu¡¯s major tasks in the extension of international trade channels. The leaders and persons from relevant departments of Yiwu have visited Xinjiang for multiple times to conduct detailed investigations and researches to actively promote the opening of Biedieli Port and the linkage with Yiwu¡¯s market. Part of the small commodities exported this time left Yiwu West Railway Station at the end of August by a ¡°Zhejiang-Xinjiang-Kyrgyzstan¡± special train for aiding Xinjiang, and were sent to the customs supervision area after arriving at Aksu Railway Station, and then were exported to Kyrgyzstan on the first day of the temporary opening of the Biedieli port. There were a total of 1130 products, mainly including induction cooker, vacuum cleaner, juicer and other types of household appliances which were in great demand in the markets of Central Asian countries. |
